Beer me

So I made beer recently. Use some brown ale malt extract and some Munton's dark malt dme.
Cascade hops, and some assorted grains we found lying around.
Here are some pics. Beer is in the second stage of fermentation now in a different container than the first carboy. We'll bottle next week, hopefully tuesday, and have beer ready in 2-4 weeks after that.
Quite excited... what next.

SHERPA pale ale - homebrew or Alchemy in homebrew

I've had the chance to taste the fruits of my labor tonight. It is good. I'm not so sure it is a pale ale, but maybe a brown ale. IMO it could have used more hops, and this is my fault for not going crazy with them. The cracked grains certainly make an appearance in the flavor as well.

So overall it is good and should get some people right and roudy next weekend.
